Rolls-Royce has celebrated 100 years of the Phantom luxury car with some amazing woodwork that has to be seen to be believed.
The famous luxury car has been celebrating a major milestone in 2025, and it is only fitting that its creators wanted to mark the occasion.
Custom wordwork has been made to do just that – the patterns and intricacies of it really do defy all expectations and fit right in with the ethos of the Phantom.
There is also set to be a one-off anniversary model unveiled by the end of 2025.

The woodwork is perfect for a Rolls-Royce Phantom
The woodwork forms part of an exclusive private collection and offers a first glimpse at what will be available.
This woodwork is also likely to appear in the special anniversary car itself.
Rolls-Royce has said it is:
“The most intricate woodwork in the marque’s history.”
Three special wordworking techniques were employed by the company, never seen in the automotive world before.

These are 3D marquetry, 3D ink layering, plus 24-carat gold leafing.
While it pushes the material to its limit, the results speak for themselves.
The company has created new interior door surfaces that spell out the history of the car.
Carved into the wood are landscapes and place names synonymous with the Phantom.
The design is an artistic masterpiece
There is no denying that what Rolls-Royce has created is truly an artistic masterpiece.
Each element has combined to create something very special.
The 3D layering adds another element to it, while there are experimental Rolls-Royce models ingrained into it.
The marque used the 24-carat gold to create the roads in each scene, and it beautifully interrupts the monochrome background.

As a centerpiece to a special anniversary model, it will look superb.
Each section of the woodwork is crafted individually, with it all coming together to tell the Phantom’s story.
While it is sublime, the company is being cagey as to what model it will actually appear on.
Not that it matters, as whatever 100-year model it appears on will look superb.
Given Rolls-Royce has teased an ‘exclusive collection’, there might be more to come with the special Phantom.
