This Rolls-Royce Phantom is a dragon-inspired car like no other.

While the car is a standout overall, its stunning Starlight headliner featuring dragons makes it even rarer.

To say the least, this will probably be the coolest Rolls-Royce you’ll see for a while.

But what inspired Rolls-Royce to create this Chinese masterpiece? It was all to celebrate the Year of the Dragon and show their respect for Chinese culture.

The headliner features two dragons from an ancient Chinese legend, symbolizing power, success, and prosperity.

To make the dragons look even more magical, 1,300 fiber optic lights were used, making them glow as if the dragons had come to life.

These beautiful dragons adorning the headliner remind us of the Celestial Phantom, the rarest Rolls-Royce with one of the most stunning headliners ever made.

According to Jonathan Simms, Head of Bespoke at Rolls-Royce, the design reflects the respect for Chinese culture and modern luxury trends.

“These creations are both a powerful expression of our respect for Chinese culture and a contemporary, minimalist statement in line with trends we see among luxury consumers worldwide,” he said.

While the headliner is clearly the star of the show, there’s so much more to admire in this dragon-inspired car.

The stunning details go beyond the ceiling

The dashboard is also dragon-themed, with features carved into stunning wood veneers.

Needless to say, it took months to engrave those designs into the dashboard, similar to how they spent hundreds of hours creating the new design for Spirit of Ecstasy.

The materials used were of the highest quality, with eucalyptus, sycamore, and ash adding beautiful colors and textures to the interior.

Black Bolivar veneer created shadows behind the dragon artwork, finishing the look.

The luxurious cabin featured red and black leather, as well as eucalyptus door panels.

To make it even more special, the client’s family name was embroidered into the headrests using ancient Chinese calligraphy.

Rolls-Royce released this incredible masterpiece on their official press club website, for the brand’s fans to check out their remarkable art.

Rolls-Royce tends to impress with whatever they set their mind to – whether it is this dragon-themed Rolls-Royce Phantom or the Spectre Lunaflair made for a special client.
