When this explorer paid a visit to an abandoned five-star hotel, he probably wasn’t expecting to find any cars there – nevermind the Rolls-Royces that were waiting for him.

Three Rolls-Royce Phantoms to be exact, each one worth $500,000, just sitting in the parking lot.

Admittedly, these would be the kind of cars you would expect to find in a five-star hotel in its heyday.

And, somehow, they weren’t the only cars on the property.

These Rolls-Royces were found outside a deserted 5-star hotel

YouTuber exploringtheunbeatenpath, whose real name is Bob Thissen, has seen a whole range of cars around the world.

You may recall that he’s explored abandoned mega mansions in China and abandoned cars inside a Swiss mine.

And that’s not forgetting the cars inside the Fukushima exclusion zone in Japan.

This time around, though, Thissen was exploring a hotel in Macao, an autonomous region on the south coast of China.

Formerly one of the most extravagant hotels in the region, it closed in 2016 due to problems with organized crime.

And these cars have been sitting there ever since.

In the hotel’s front entrance, there are at least three luxury Rolls-Royces, including extended wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantoms.

Unfortunately, they aren’t in good condition, with smashed-up windows and graffiti scrawled across their bodies.

Despite that, they seem to be intact parts-wise – meaning they could potentially be fixed up.

But that would be a job for a mechanic with a lot of time on their hands.

Which other cars were at this hotel?

It wasn’t just Rolls-Royces lining the grounds of this hotel, however.

Other cars included a Porsche Cayenne, several Toyota Alphards, a Dodge Charger limousine, and an Audi A8.

And that’s not all.

Perhaps the most dramatic car of all was the stretched Hummer H2 limousine.

It was sad to see the cars in this state, but there’s always the hope that they’ll be rescued and returned to their former glory.

And hopefully the abandoned hotel can have a similar revival – even if it’s as something other than the five-star destination it was originally intended to be.
