The roofless, $3,500,000 Aspark Owl Roadster has landed.

It represents the latest entry into the EV hypercar world.

Some of the more established contenders are already extreme.

But the new Aspark Owl Roadster pushes EV hypercars into another universe.

Aspark Owl Roadster has landed

The EV hypercar world is already a pretty exciting place.

Offerings such as the Rimac Nevera, Lotus Evija, and Pininfarina Battista are extreme.

Those beasts have made the world of the EV hypercar a very exciting place.

But there is now a new kid on the block.

And it pushes EV hypercars into a totally new dimension.

Meet the $3,500,000 Aspark Owl Roadster.

This Japanese offering is absolutely absurd in every aspect.

Its fully-electric powertrain places it firmly among its more-established EV hypercar contenders.

In addition, its limited availability is also sure to guarantee its spot as prime real estate in anyone’s collection.

The new Aspark Owl Roadster is officially the world’s fastest EV roadster.

In case you were wondering, this thing has some incredible firepower behind it.

The all-electric powertrain produces a staggering 1,953hp.

That, in turn, leads to a ‘hypothetical’ top speed of 257mph.

It can also sprint from 0-186mph in less than 10 seconds.

And the 0-60 time?

Well, you probably won’t have time to even see the speedometer.

Because the Owl will sprint to 60 in just 1.78 seconds.

Price tag puts the Owl among the elite

That puts the Aspark Owl Roadster among the elite of the hypercar world.

Of course, hypercar performance comes with hypercar prices.

And that price tag comes to $3,500,000.

That means that only a very small handful of people will likely ever own it.

The powertrain consists of four independent motors.

A carbon monocoque chassis and double-wishbone suspension serve as the basis of the chassis.

This is paired with carbon-ceramic brakes – because nearly 2,000hp needs some stopping power.

An active aerodynamic system includes an adjustable rear wing, again, because of said ridiculous speeds.

The whole Roadster thing is also far from a sales gimmick.

Aspark describes the experience as becoming ‘one with the road,’ with heightened awareness of sound, airflow, and vibration.

According to reports, just 20 units are planned for production.

If the $3,500,000 price tag is to be believed, then it would make the Aspark Owl Roadster one of the most expensive EV hypercars in its class.

In fairness, when you can sprint from 0-60 in under two seconds, you probably won’t have time to care.
