Want to know how the world’s wealthiest travel? You’re in luck, as a video has reemerged of an Al-Hilal soccer player giving a tour of his team’s $232,000,000 Boeing private jet that once belonged to royalty.

Former Manchester United loan, Odion Ighalo, posted a video on Instagram in 2023 showing off the luxury that players from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal were traveling in at the time.

The Boeing 747-400 airplane once belonged to royalty, before being used to transport the soccer team around to their matches.

Its old owner was a big fan of the team, so the chance to charter it to them for their own use was too good to resist.

This is one very expensive Boeing private jet

The airplane was used by Al-Hilal whenever the team has an away game to get to.

It was reported that the aircraft cost up to $232 million in total.

The aircraft once belonged to King Salman, who had it extensively modified to become a luxury personal jet.

Gone are the regular seats and fittings you would expect from a commercial airliner.

In their place are features such as marble floors, leather sofas, and even a throne.

There were once 400 seats in total inside the Boeing 747.

But these were ripped out and replaced by a huge array of luxury items.

After walking around the jet, Ighalo is seen mouthing ‘wow’ thanks to the level of luxury.

An almost unmatched amount of luxury

Few aircraft can boast of having this many high-end features.

As well as the sofas and throne, there are various lounge areas throughout the Boeing.

There is also a dining room where all the players for Al-Hilal can eat together.

Naturally, there are also beds and rest areas for the players to relax.

Don’t think of this as just a bigger private jet.

Think of this Boeing 747 as a true palace in the skies, extrapolating the level of luxury.

This isn’t the only Boeing 747 that has been turned into a luxury airliner.

Qatar, of course, has gifted the US a Jumbo Jet that is packed full of luxury and more.

But few aircraft will match what the Saudi soccer team can experience as they fly between matches.
