Shaq’s epic Chevrolet Corvette supercar project hit a major delay, and now Shaq himself is feeling quite angry.

Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal loves his cars, and he is currently having a Chevrolet Corvette customized.

However, the car is taking a little longer to tweak than usual, via his customization friends over at Effortless Motors, and the big man himself wants the car as soon as possible.

The company posted a video on Instagram of Shaq visiting them and discussing his car and its location.

Shaq is waiting for his Chevy Corvette

While he was probably acting a bit, Shaq clearly wants to see what the finished supercar will be like.

The man himself edited in a clip from Effortless posted back in March.

They said that the car would be finished in two or three weeks, but we are now approaching September!

Shaq said he was hoping it would be ready upon his visit, while the guys at Effortless said they have plenty of other cars that they are working on.

Of course, O’Neal probably doesn’t mind waiting a bit longer.

We’ve seen before how well Effortless Motors customizes its cars.

They certainly know what they are doing.

Shaq loves a good car collection

While he made his name in basketball, that hasn’t stopped the American sports star from flexing his love of cars.

He’s even confessed to having bought several cars and then forgotten what they are!

Earlier in 2025, he admitted that, having bought a Cadillac Escalade IQ, he forgot he had bought the car.

It too had been customized by Effortless Motors.

A video on his Instagram in March 2025 showed the SUV being delivered to his home.

That led to some visible confusion when it was finally delivered.

He questioned what it was doing outside his house.

One thing that confused Shaq was whether his 7ft 1in frame would even fit into the Cadillac.

But his team had already thought of that and modified the car so he could easily get inside the EV.

Let’s hope that when he gets his Corvette back, he remembers that he bought the supercar!
