A company that specializes in modified cars showed up at the residence of Shaquille O’Neal with a custom luxury van built specifically for Shaq.
The ‘problem’ is that they showed up with the luxury van and a Mercedes S550, and Shaq wanted to buy that one as well.
They thought they would show up with two vehicles, deliver the one that had been commissioned by Shaq and then drive back to the showroom with the other vehicle.
But Shaq ended up buying both of them.

Why Shaq decided to buy both
Effortless Motors, a company that specializes in custom vehicles for celebrities, has already worked with Shaquille O’Neal for his carbon Cybertruck.
They should probably know that Shaq is extremely wealthy, and not at all shy about it.
Effortless turned a Mercedes Sprinter van into a proper private jet for the road for Shaq.
The thing is, they also showed up with a Mercedes S550 and when Shaq saw how good it looked parked next to his van, he decided to buy both.

How Shaquille O’Neal made his money after he left the NBA
Shaq made a ton of cash playing in the NBA for two decades, but that’s not where the bulk of his net worth comes from.
Shaq famously owns car washes, health clubs, Five Guys fast food restaurants and even a movie theater.
It didn’t happen by chance.
Shaq has an MBA, a Master in Business Administration, and he’s very proud about how and why he got it.

In essence, Shaq was tired of being sidelined when it came to his businesses, and so he got an MBA so that people would take him seriously.
It clearly worked out for him, and it probably explains why he can now afford the hefty maintenance bill for this jet.
