When Supercar Blondie got a closer look at a brand new 1-of-25 Spyker, she was left stunned by the gold details that adorned it inside and out.
At Monterey Car Week, the Supercar Blondie team has got to see a whole host of awesome cars.
And this gold tinted Spyker car is no exception.
In fact, you could say that Spyker had the Midas Touch when it made this car.
Monterey Car Week is always special, but this year took things to the next level
When it comes to the crème de la crème of cars, you can’t do much better than Monterey Car Week.
And while it delivers every year, this year’s array of cars have been on another level.
The Supercar Blondie team has been fortunate enough to see some of the best offerings of the automotive industry for ourselves.
There was the top-secret Jaguar Type 01 alongside such heavy hitters as a 1-of-150 Aston Martin Valen, and the $2 million Czinger 21C Spyder.
It’s been a Monterey Car Week to remember.
And this next offering has raised the bar, if that was even possible.
How does a 1-of-25 Spyker with gold details sound?
The most eye-catching thing about this vehicle – named the Preliator (Latin for ‘warrior’) – are the gorgeous rose gold details all across the car.
The detailing continues on the inside, right down to the 3D printed pedals.
Capable of 800hp, this car is clearly capable of more than just looking pretty.
On the side of the car is a plaque which reads ‘I/XXV’.
In Roman Numeral speak, this means ‘One of 25’, marking this car’s status as a rare breed.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the XXV flashes up in the headlights too.
“I think that’s such a cool feature,” Hirschi said.
Plenty of aviation features adorn this car, serving as a nod to Spyker’s history as an aircraft manufacturer.
This includes the rear lights, designed to resemble a jet’s afterburners.
The Preliator is believed to cost 1.5 million euros – the equivalent of $1.75 million – according to reports from the NL Times.
