A stray kitten that was found under a car hood got a first-class ride with firefighters in Delaware, US.
After being found in an auto, firefighters came to the cat’s call and got it to safety.
After riding in a fire truck, the feline got checked over by a shelter.
Plus, the kitten was also gifted a unique name thanks to the heroic rescue.

Animals can cause all kinds of chaos when it comes to the auto and aviation industry.
For example, a huge croc previously managed to shut down a US Navy base.
And, if that wasn’t enough, snakes have caused all kinds of disruption too; in fact, one road in Illinois closes two times every year just to let the animals cross the road.
But one little kitten received quite the unexpected trip after being found in the hood of the car.
You have to admit, it’s not the most normal place for a cat to call home, so firefighters were called in to come to the feline’s rescue.
And, after the key workers came to the rescue, the little cat got to ride to safety in style – in a huge fire truck.
Faithful Friends Animal Society, aka FFAS, shared a post online (@ffas_delaware) explaining the ordeal of how the stray kitten ended up in its care.
“There’s never a dull moment here at Faithful Friends,” they quipped.

“This morning, Minquas Fire Company #1 found a stray kitten in Newport, in the hood of a car. “
Thanks to the unique way in which the kitten was transported, it earned the animal quite the apt name.
“After safely rescuing him from the vehicle, the kitten, now named Blaze – got a first-class ride in their firetruck to our shelter. Blaze received a thorough exam from our vet team, and will soon be available for adoption,” they continued.

Online, people were amazed at the situation.
“Awesome! I wonder if they need a fire cat at their station? Very good for stress relief and ever so cute,” said one social media user.
“Aw,” said another.
“FFAS is so grateful for the heroic efforts of the Minquas Fire Company #1 and is thrilled to welcome Blaze into their care,” said the Shelter
“Blaze’s journey from a car hood to the safety of Faithful Friends Animal Shelter highlights the extraordinary efforts of our community’s first responders and the importance of animal rescue,” it concluded.
