This is the batmobile from Batman: Arkham Knight and this image shows it neglected and left to collect dust.

The vehicle was developed specifically for the 1989 film and is worth $1.5 million.

The image is just one in a collection of renders showing multimillion-dollar hypercars in different states of neglect.

The abandoned Batmobile is part of a collection of renders created by digital designer Fabian Oberhammer.

Oberhammer told supercarblondie.com the images depict what he believes might happen come the end of the combustion engine.

The collection includes a Bugatti, Pagani, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari and of course the batmobile all left to collect dust.

In fact, they’re so realistic they’ve since gone viral.

Oberhammer, who goes by thedizzyviper online, took inspiration from old barn finds like this Aston Martin DB4 found abandoned near New York and this super rare E-Type Jaguar found rusted away.

Oberhammer told supercarblondie.com he wanted to “use cars that are so new, and so expensive that they almost couldn’t be abandoned” because “who would do that?”.

The artist said some of the renders of abandoned supercars looked so realistic that people asked him where they were located and if they could buy them.

“I even got offers for the cars, someone offered me 800k for the LaFerrari,” he said.

Oberhammer said he was blown away by some of the reactions to his work.

“It has this ‘is it real? No it can’t be, or can it?‘ effect, which I think is what made them go so viral,” he said.

While these abandoned supercars are fake, they’re eerily similar to these very real photos taken of supercars destroyed in South Korea this year.

The images show a garage full of supercars destroyed after Typhoon Hinnamnor hit South Korea’s capital city Seoul.

The sobering photos show a $500,000 Lamborghini Aventador, $200,000 Lamborghini Huracan and a $190,000 McLaren 570S all destroyed in the floods.
