A Tennessee woman who sold everything to live on a cruise ship full time, is now revealing whether it was worth it or not.
Monica Brzoska and her husband Jorrell Conley were only in their 30s when they quit their teaching jobs to live life out on the high seas.
In the span of eight months, they’d sailed 36 voyages.
To fund their life on the sea and start an early retirement, they rented out their home in Memphis.

This Tennessee woman lives like a millionaire on a cruise ship – but was it worth uprooting her life for?
Monica Brzoska, 32, and Jorrell Conley, 36, took their first cruise together in 2016 to Mexico, Belize, and Grand Cayman.
That first trip led to many more, before they eventually decided to take the plunge in 2023 and live cruise life full time.

Booking one voyage after another, they funded it by renting out their house which brought in an income between $1,200 and $1,900 a month.
They make use of cheaper cabins and loyalty discounts to keep expenses down for their early retirement lifestyle.
And get this – their first eight months out on the sea only cost them $10,000.
That’s right, that includes accommodation, meals, and entertainment across all 36 cruises.
But how was Monica feeling about her decision now?

“There are challenges, of course. We miss our families, but know we can fly home if there’s an emergency,” she told The Sun.
“With at least six months of cruises ahead of us, visiting the Caribbean and Australia, there is no end in sight.
“In our old life we’d have moments we called ‘glimmers’, when everything seemed magical.”
But now she said life was full of those magical moments.
Others have also ditched ‘real life’ for a never-ending cruise
Living on a cruise ship is admittedly still a novelty, but it seems to be increasingly popular these days.

One woman lives full time on cruise ships, as part of her goal to keep her living costs under $2,000 a month.
Then there’s the content creator who is intending to live on a Princess Cruise ship for two years in a mini-suite.
