This Cybertruck took a 6,200-mile journey to the Arctic Circle
The Tesla Cybertruck is known for being able to tackle tricky terrain thanks to its distinctive design.
Its off-roading capabilities mean it can navigate all kinds of surroundings from rocks to snow, and one driver decided to push it to the limits.
Jacky Chu shared how he took his Cybertruck to the Article Circle and revealed just how much he had to charge his vehicle.

“15 days, 6,200 miles round trip from San Jose, CA. I reached the Arctic Circle sign, camped at a mountain summit, and stayed in front of a glacier.
“What an amazing and wonderful trip – especially in an electric vehicle,” he said.
But, as you’d expect, the EV obviously needed charging along the way, and all the stops amounted to a large chunk of time.
The driver revealed the way he charged the EV on his journey to the Arctic Circle.
“I used: FLO, BC Hydro, and EVC Canada. I brought the A2Z CCS1 to NACS adapter with me. Most chargers worked fine – except for BC Hydro,” he explained.
In total, he said that he spent four full days charging, which often meant overnight stints at RV parks too.

Plus, to keep a close eye on things, Jacky even put together a spreadsheet that detailed where he charged, how long he charged for, and the cost among various other factors.
How much did it actually cost to drive to the Arctic Circle in a Tesla Cybertruck?
Sometimes charging EVs doesn’t come cheap, which Jacky discovered.
After spending four days in total charging, thanks to his spreadsheet, he was able to keep an eye on outgoings.
In fact, the total cost of charging his Tesla Cybertruck on his 6,200-mile journey to the Arctic Circle was the grand sum of $1,061. And it was made possible by the Supercharger network.
Tesla’s Supercharger network is vast and spans across a large portion of the US.
In fact, there is a map that shows how the Tesla Supercharger network is slowly taking over America.
Plus, we can’t forget that Tesla is building a UFO-inspired Supercharger in extraterrestrial territory of New Mexico.
Would you risk a trip to the Arctic in an EV? Or are you happy sticking to gas-powered vehicles?
