Tesla is responsible for producing some of the most unique technological advances in recent years.

Many have often wondered whether some of Tesla’s designs are UFO-inspired.

However, jokes and gags around the UFO pilgrimage site might be building ground.

Because the American brand is constructing a UFO-inspired supercharger in New Mexico.

Roswell, New Mexico – proof of alien life?

July 1947 was an extremely tense and nervous time.

The Cold War – the ideological conflict between America and the Soviet Union – was in its infancy, and fear and mistrust spread all across the globe.

Naturally, the United States government tried to deter the Soviet Union’s efforts to undermine American democracy.

As part of those efforts, the United States launched Project Mogul from New Mexico.

Based at Alamogordo Army Air Field, the project involved high-altitude balloons.

Its purpose was to try and detect long-distance sound waves from Soviet atomic bomb tests.

That month, a man named W.W. “Mac” Brazel discovered debris in his ranch near Corona, New Mexico.

Thinking it might be UFO material, Brazel drove to Roswell, New Mexico, to tell the authorities.

The 509th Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force was informed, stationed at Roswell Army Air Field.

At the time, the 509th was the only group capable of delivering nuclear weapons.

Public Information Officer Walter Haut confirmed that parts from ‘a flying disc‘ had been found.

Despite this later being denied, rumours of alien life forms have strongly persisted ever since.

Tesla taking inspiration from Roswell

Recently, the EV giant announced that it’s building a new supercharger facility.

That might not sound overly exciting in itself, but it’s being built in alien country.

More specifically, the new facility will call Roswell, New Mexico, home.

The new CyberCanopy is planned to house eight superchargers.

Max de Zegher, Tesla’s Director of Charging for North America, confirmed the news.

He made the point that Tesla ‘wants to build a few Superchargers cool enough to be worth of the trip itself.’

The supposed CyberCanopy certainly does indeed bear a resemblance to certain UFO images.

So, if you’ve always planned to visit Roswell, now might be the perfect chance.
