This Tesla owner nearly forgot his Tesla Cybertruck can drive itself on the way to the beach in Hawaii.
It must’ve felt like finding a $20 bill in the back pocket of a pair of pants you haven’t worn in two weeks.
A Cybertruck can indeed drive itself, and this owner did two things at the wheel since he didn’t have to drive.
The second one makes perfect sense once you learn his name.

A Cybertruck can drive itself, but we suppose a Tesla owner can sometimes forget that. Which might have something to do with it being the last Tesla model to receive the FSD upgrade.
Luca Pasturini, a drone operator who regularly shares Tesla content on Instagram, took his Cybertruck on a road trip in Hawaii. And he decided to do two things while the truck was driving itself.
The first was kick up his feet and get comfortable. That’s something you can do quite easily in a Tesla Cybertruck because it doesn’t have a traditional center console.
In the past, center consoles were simply designed to accommodate things like the transmission knob, and there were a lot of mechanical components under it.
But EVs are built differently, so they don’t necessarily need a center console.

Cybertruck also has steer-by-wire which, by the way, is the reason why it’s not street-legal in the UK.
In a car with a steer-by-wire system, the steering wheel is not physically attached to the wheels. And that means there’s also no traditional steering rack.
That, in turn, means there’s a lot more room for your legs, even if you’re in the driver’s seat.
The second thing he did – or actually we should say ‘made’ – was coffee.
Luca Pasturini lives in Hawaii. But, as the name suggests, he’s originally from Italy, and so, as a good Italian, he literally brought his espresso machine along for the ride.
And he had an espresso at the wheel.
Priceless.
