Often polarizing, Tesla conversions are always a bit hit or miss, but this one-of-a-kind Tesla Model S station wagon EV stands out as one of the best conversions yet.

Shared on Facebook by Classic Driver, this Tesla Model S that had been converted into a station wagon had been gaining virality online.

Described by the British company as a ‘shooting brake’, this Tesla Model S can comfortably transport a family, with plenty of trunk space.

And if we’re being honest, we can’t quite believe that no one has thought of this before – it just… works.

This Tesla Model S conversion into a station wagon has been a lot better received than many Tesla conversions. Mostly because it seems like a reasonable and efficient use of the available space in the EV.

Turning this sedan EV into a station wagon has resulted in a surprisingly good-looking car. But there’s also plenty of space for a large family, including a bigger trunk, so you could even bring your furry friends along for the ride.

The original version of the Tesla Model S came with backward-facing jump seats. They were removed in later models because there wasn’t really enough space for them and the rear window.

But the station wagon comes with enough space to maybe have the jump seats reinstalled in this one-of-a-kind design.

The Tesla Model S is the perfect base for building a station wagon out of because of the way that the batteries are built into the floor, leaving a lot of internal space.

It looks as though the person who converted the Tesla station wagon has moved around various parts, like the left and right C-Pillars.

Who knew that the Tesla Model S would make such a successful station wagon, but does it kind of make sense, right?

We hope whoever ends up buying it has a blast driving it around!
