A map of the Tesla Supercharger network in America shows how they’re slowly taking over.

It’s no secret that the EVs are the future, with car brands ever-increasing their capacities to roll out electric cars.

But with high demand must come clever solutions.

And Tesla’s Supercharger network could be the answer, with its rapid rate of advancement.

Tesla is the leading EV giant.

The company has even launched itself into space, with a Roadster currently in orbit, plus, the release of the Cybertruck meant pickup trucks went green.

However, as you’d expect, the EVs need somewhere to charge, and thanks to their popularity, there are lots of them.

The state of California has already adopted a proactive approach, with the number of EV chargers surpassing the number of gas stations.

And, it appears that the majority of the US is set to join in on the action, too.

Thanks to a distribution map released by Tesla, we can see the sheer amount of Superchargers available – and trust us, it’s a hefty amount.

But, with electric vehicle numbers set to only increase across the world, it’s no wonder Tesla is leading the pack, as its Superchargers can be used with other vehicles if the required attachments are fitted.

Superchargers are more powerful than your standard EV charger.

In fact, the Supercharger can rack up to 200 miles of range in just 15 minutes. And the charging docks can be found in a wide array of places.

“With 60,000+ Superchargers, Tesla owns and operates the largest global, fast charging network in the world.

“Located on major routes near convenient amenities, Superchargers keep you charged when you’re away from home. Simply plug in, charge, and go,” explained Tesla itself.

It’s all down to the clever map, that the locations are easy to distinguish and widely distributed for EV users to utilise.

However, some gearheads have had some things to say about it online.

“I’m in Paducah, Kentucky, right now, and I’m in a black hole!!! We need the charging network here,” said one user.

“Wow! That is amazing! Looks like one of those cellular service maps. That is A LOT of superchargers,” added a satisfied motorist.

“Looks like a virus spreading, but a good one, though,” joked someone else

The question is, though – how many will be added to that map in the immediate future? Some places have an abundance, while other places are at a clear disadvantage.

Only time will tell.
