This Texas man secretly supercharged his wife’s 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, but gave it way more power than he expected.
YouTuber Lonestar Hawaiian had put a 3.0 liter Whipple supercharger into his wife’s car, all while tricking her into thinking it was broken and at a dealer.
In secret, he and his dad installed a bunch of extra features onto the truck.
This was all building up to a Mother’s Day surprise that would leave everyone taken aback.

How he secretly supercharged his wife’s 2020 Chevrolet Silverado
If there’s one thing we love, it’s seeing a supercharged car.
There was the Ford Terminator which had a name befitting its power, and then there was the 1957 Bel Air limo which Cleetus McFarland worked his magic on.
Even the late Queen Elizabeth II enjoyed a supercharged vehicle.
Little did this YouTuber’s wife know that her 2020 Chevrolet Silverado was about to get ‘a heck of a lot rowdier’.

Or at least, that’s how her husband put it.
A Whipple supercharger was going to replace the Silverado’s old 2.3L Mercedes engine.
Over the course of a few days, the truck got a whole host of new features – new spark plugs, a new custom intake, an overly loud exhaust, and a custom tune.
The big reveal was approaching fast, and this man was excited.
But nobody could have anticipated how powerful the new Chevrolet Silverado would be.

The big reveal – and his wife’s reaction
His wife was a self-described cautious driver, so she seemed a little reluctant to put the truck’s new capabilities to the test.
But once the couple’s sons had been dropped off, she put the pedal to the medal and let rip on a country road.

And when we say let rip, we really mean it.
Even Lonestar Hawaiian was a little taken aback by the noise that was being produced.
“Well you’ve got a supercharged daily driver now, thanks to Whipple superchargers,” he commented.
“This truck is violent.”
Violent or not, his wife was happy with what she now had at her fingertips.
