Bombardier’s Global 8000 jet is set to become the fastest ever civilian jet since Concorde.

The jet can reach supersonic speeds and reach destinations quicker than ever before

It’s set to be rolled out this year, so the release is imminent.

There are various different kinds of jets on the market

There are advancements happening all the time within the world of aviation.

For example, a blended-wing body aircraft known as the ‘Boeing killer’ is coming soon and it’s able to hold even more passengers.

Plus, the world’s first fully autonomous helicopter – the first of its kind – is on the way.

This new advancement is set to rock the airplane world, with the speed of its engines set to make history.

This is the Bombardier Global 8000

The business jet is set to reach a top speed of Mach 0.94 and boasts an impressive range of 8000 nautical miles.

It’s also making waves as the ‘only business jet with four true living spaces’ according to the company itself – and that’s not all, it also has a transcontinental ultra-high speed cruise of Mach 0.92.

On the face of things, this plane is set to be the real deal, making seriously long flights seem effortless.

The jet achieved great things during its test flight

The plane went supersonic when taken for a test run, which means that history could be about to be rewritten.

The Global 8000 is set to replace the 7500 with even more improved technology – the hint is in the name as the Global 8000’s range is 500 miles more than the 7500.

However, the secret to its stellar performance could lie in the wings.

The Global 8000 houses a ‘Smooth Flĕx Wing’ which is essentially two wings rolled into one that provides ‘low-speed agility and a high speed wing’ for unbeatable levels of range and speed.

It also boasts other impressive features, including a Soleil lighting system, which can help fight jetlag, alongside fast air replacement and low cabin altitude.

The impressive jet can also house up to 19 passengers and starts at the small fee of over $81 million.

Not exactly something that we’re all going to be able to afford.

But, keep your eyes peeled for the plane as it takes to the skies in the coming months, we’re all set to be impressed by its remarkable speed.
