This American man sold the ‘greatest car’, but it’s not all bad news – a lot of good came out of it.

YouTuber TheStradman was a big fan of this one-of-one supercar.

And it’s no wonder – there was a lot to love about this car, from its Monterey Blue exterior to its twin-turbo V8 pumping out 1,000hp.

But it came with expensive monthly payments, so a decision had to be made.

Why the ‘greatest car’ got sold, and what came next

This Youtuber had been trying to sell his Koenigsegg Agera HH for a while now.

On the face of it, it might like a bad idea – one look at this car would be enough to sway anyone into keeping it.

But flashy exterior and powerful engine aside, this car was costing a mint.

We’re talking about payments of $35,000 a month here.

But alas, it had now been sold and offloading those massive monthly payments had opened up an opportunity for the YouTuber.

His focus was now on a whole new adventure -fixing up a salvaged Ferrari 812 Superfast.

Months of delays had slowed down the project’s progression, but he was nearing the end of the journey.

It was his hope that it’d be finished in time for a summer road trip.

While it’d been a rocky road to get to this point, selling the Koenigsegg had freed up some funds to make this doable.

“The fact [the car is] driving is honestly half the battle,” he admitted.

TheStradman is no stranger to flashy cars

In his time on YouTube, TheStradman has been involved with his fair share of impressive cars.

You may recall he flew across America in order to buy back his dad’s 1969 GMC truck.

But he’s generous with his cars – as demonstrated when he loaned a Bugatti Chiron to a 17-year-old for his driving test.

Imagine pulling up to the DMV in a Bugatti, talk about a flex.
