Check out this awesome electric-powered boat that looks almost identical to a top-of-the-range supercar.

We’ve seen EVs introduced to a growing number of industries, such as cars, bikes, robotaxis, and more.

The nautical industry is also taking note, with numerous electric-powered jet skis, boats, and other watercraft.

However, few look quite as cool as this one from Maryland-based VonMercier.

The boat looks like a high-end supercar

This isn’t the first car-boat – or should that be boat-car? – we’ve seen.

Over in Spain, a company called Wave Lovers has designed a jet ski that looks almost exactly like Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster

And over in the US, the, the Lucerne Electric Jet Craft manages to effortlessly balance striking looks with a powerful performance on the water.

We really can’t talk about this boat without mentioning its looks.

Designed to look like the sort of high-end sports car you’d expect to see blasting around a race track, the Lucerne Electric Jet Craft is crafted from carbon fiber and features a shallow V hull that is able to cut through the water like a hot knife through butter.

The open-air boat features teak decks, which add a touch of luxury to its interior, and has enough room for four passengers with two rear sports seats and a front bench seat.

Its electric engine offers a bunch of benefits

The Lucerne Electric Jet Craft is a neat size, measuring 5.5 meters (18ft) in length and weighing 680kg (1,500lbs) meaning it can be easily transported on land without the need for a specialist vehicle or equipment.

Its electric hydro-jet propulsion system offers 150 horsepower and is powered by a lithium-ion battery that can be recharged at a standard EV charging station.

VonMercier says the Lucerne Electric Jet Craft gives riders around two hours of use per full charge.

Of course, having an electric engine means the boat gives a quiet, pleasant ride through the water with no smelly tailpipe emissions – being electric also means its better for the environment, so not only does it look good, but it does good.

The Lucerne Electric Jet Craft is fully customizable with various options available for the exterior colors, interior fabrics and materials, and finishes.

VonMercier has set a base price of $135,000 for the Lucerne Electric Jet Craft, with a $500 deposit required to secure the sale.
