Remember the time Tom Cruise pulled off a ludicrous maneuver with James Corden in a vintage fighter jet?
The American film icon is a renowned addict to anything with wheels and an engine.
And it was James Corden who learned this first hand.
The Hollywood star pulled off some incredible aerial acrobatics in the sky and the footage has to be seen to be believed.

Tom Cruise and James Corden take to the sky in a vintage fighter jet
Tom Cruise is renowned for being extremely invested in stuntwork.
As a matter of fact, the Hollywood icon performs all of his own stunts in movies.
But it appears that Tom Cruise is more than happy to perform stunts in real life, as well.
A few years ago, James Corden had taken over hosting duties of “The Late Late Show”.
May 2022 saw Cruise appear on the show as a guest, except Tom Cruise didn’t actually meet Corden in the studio.
Instead, Corden showed up to Burbank Airport in California at 5am one morning where he was met by the Hollywood star who revealed they’d be taking to the sky in a vintage fighter jet.

The P-51K Mustang was built in 1944 and actually belonged to Cruise.
After trying to climb up on the wing, Corden eventually made his way into the rear seat.
Cruise took his seat at the front of the flight deck, and the pair lifted off.
After getting into the air, the pair took in some incredible scenery from the sky.
But the serenity was short lived.
A few minutes later, a fellow vintage fighter jet appeared out of nowhere.
“Tom, who is that?”, Corden asked.
“I don’t know – I think he wants to fight us”, Cruise replied in jest.
Cruise pulled off extreme aerial acrobatics
The Hollywood star went on to pull off some incredible aerial acrobatics in the sky.
Of course, several barrel rolls and pitches were thrown in, as well as some inverted flying.
But it was an inverted, low-altitude pass that really took Corden out.
After a performance that was impressive and terrifying in equal measure, Cruise landed the plane and Corden made a less-than-gracious exit from the fighter jet.
You can watch the epic footage here:
Tom Cruise really is the Hollywood star that can (and does) do it all.
