In a world where electric vehicles are becoming paramount, gas engines are revving up for their last hoorah, and now one Toyota Crown Signia owner is showing off how financially savvy gas mileage really is.
EVs are no longer the future, they are the present.
But even if global morals are pushing for more eco-friendly vehicles, gas cars won’t be phased out any time soon.
The Toyota Crown Signia 2025 is proving just that, as one owner has showcased just how cheap they can be to run.

Toyota Crown Signia comes with massive gas mileage range
Toyota has really been upping the ante with its new engine work in 2025, revealing a new 2.0-liter turbo that packs a huge punch.
But the Crown Signia is sticking with the larger 2.5l 4-cylinder hybrid, and it’s proved to be a stroke of genius as the car appears to be clocking in at over 500 miles in one tank.
According to a TikTok from Omardriver, the Signia gets a whopping 571 miles range with a full tank of fuel, which he claims costs less than $1,000 to run per year (averaging 1,000 miles a month).
That’s an extremely impressive gas mileage count.
“Under the hood you have a 240HP hybrid set up, so hitting 60mph will take a while, but hey, at least you’ll be saving a ton of money on gas,” Omar said.
“It starts at around $43,000 for the XLE and $48,000 for the fully loaded limited. Not bad.”
In comparison, the Mercedes EQS at over $100,000 is expected to be the longest-ranging electric battery at 481 miles on one full charge.
TikTok commenters backed Mazda’s cars as a better alternative though.
One person said: “TFW when the Mazda ^ has as much mileage on one tank and is way cheaper.”
While another added: “Mazda CX-50 Hybrid comes with Toyota engine and has luxury and a 10k lower price tag.”
However, in the case of the Mazda 6 specifically, the Toyota Crown Signia has a much smaller engine making it more efficient, while looking nicer inside.
Still, it’s not the largest tank in the world, as the Jaguar XF is dubbed to get 731 miles on its range.
The TikTok personality claims that if you drive quite quickly the Crown Signia could even be mistaken for a Ferrari, which is quite a timely comment considering one Japanese tuner combined the Toyota SUV with a Purosangue kit in one of the coolest crossovers we’ll see this year.
