Back in the day, ‘pimping’ somebody’s car involved an MTV camera crew – but this guy decided to try it out on a Toyota Prius with just some Temu parts.
YouTuber The Rad Factory wanted to give his best friend Gavin’s car a total makeover.
The car had been looking a little rough, so he wanted to give it a firefighter-themed transformation.
What he ended up with at the end took him by surprise.

What happened to this Toyota Prius when one YouTuber got his hands on it?
The Rad Factory brought in a lot of features to rejuvenate this Prius’ image.
The firefighter theme incorporated badges, a license plate cover, and even a ‘weewoo’ light.
And that’s not forgetting a giant roof rack, a canopy, a solar shower, and a movie screen.

This is all sounding great, right?
But you know what they say – if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Would this project deliver, or would it be a bitter disappointment?
To make the car a functional off-roader, a Prius Off-Road lift kit was installed.

When it came time to update the car’s ‘boring’ look, they painted the wheels gold and applied a new livery with red, orange, and yellow stripes.
The look was inspired by Ivan Stewart’s trophy trucks.
On the inside, some ‘thin red line’ seat covers from Temu were added, but their quality was debatable.
By the video’s end, this Toyota Prius looked totally different – but what would Gavin make of it?
The moment of truth – what did Gavin think of his new car?
“What started off as a pretty silly joke turned into the coolest transformation we’ve ever done,” The Rad Factory said proudly.
“At least in three days.”

Gavin was really stoked, as he’d had to get rid of his other cool cars to put himself through fire academy after becoming a father.
Now he had an awesome new daily driver at his disposal.
“I was pretty sad to buy a Prius, but I thought it was the smart choice,” he explained.
“And now I have the sickest car out of anyone. I’m so stoked! I love it, bud.”
You can get a lot done with things purchased on Temu.
One YouTuber bought himself a dirt bike on the site, while another built a Ferrari using Temu parts.
