Not content with making some of the most reliable vehicles on the market, Toyota also rewards its customers when their cars hit a high mileage milestone.
The Japanese car manufacturer has produced some incredibly popular vehicles over the years, be it the Corolla, Celica, Hilux, or Tundra.
As an added incentive, the company rewards owners whose cars can go, quite literally, the extra mile and do incredible mileage.
But if you want to enjoy the high mileage status that you will be afforded, then you need at least 150,000 miles on whatever Toyota it is you drive.

How you can be rewarded for high mileage from Toyota
If you manage to achieve a high mileage and show loyalty to your cars, Toyota will reward you.
This kicks in after a car has done 150,000 miles.
Should you reach this, a bronze-colored sticker is sent to you for you to affix to the car.
If you reach 200,000 miles, you get a silver one, and a gold one at 300,000 miles.
The stickers read ‘Toyota High Mile Club‘, which is a slight spin on a well-known aviation-related phrase.

You don’t need us to say what that is.
The sticker also says “X times around the world…and still going,” with X being a number from six upwards.
However, if you reach 500,000 miles, which would be remarkable, a green sticker is sent to you.

The Japanese manufacturer is famous for its reliability
It might sound difficult, but Toyota’s cars are famed for high mileage.
The scheme rewards those who own Toyota models in the UK, and it’s a nice touch for loyal customers.
“Following requests from Toyota owners in the UK, we created the High Mile Club. It’s a way for people to show off how proud they are of their vehicle,” Toyota said.
But they aren’t the only car company famed for high mileage and big odometer numbers.
A 2003 Honda Accord managed one million miles, all on the original engine, driven by owner Justin Kilmer.
The late Irving Gordon went even better with his 1966 Volvo 1800S, breaking three million miles.

His Volvo held the Guinness World Record for the highest mileage on a personal car.
Both of these cars did incredibly well on the odometer.
But if you want to guarantee some high mileage, then get yourself a Toyota.
