After 15 years in hiding, a Toyota Supra Mk4 is ready to hit the streets again after getting the care and attention it deserves.

Car detailers WD Detailing found the Supra abandoned in a backyard, where it had sat for 15 years before being recovered.

The Supra was in a rough state, covered in dirt, but underneath all of that emerged a clean, tidy sports car.

Supras are some of the most popular Japanese cars ever made, so seeing this one restored was a pleasing sight.

The Supra had not run in more than 15 years

The video on the WD Detailing Instagram account shows the car parked up in the backyard where it used to live.

The car had simply been abandoned, becoming dusty and dirty with leaves covering it.

Thankfully, however, the bodywork was undamaged and the sports car had escaped from serious deterioration.

With the Supra such a popular car, it simply had to be saved.

It didn’t take long for the WD Detailing team to get to work on bringing it back up to its former glory.

The results in the video speak for themselves, with just a quick wash ensuring the Supra looked 10 times better.

Mold and dirt removed from the Toyota

For whatever reason, the owner of the car simply hadn’t run it in a long time.

They entrusted WD Detailing with the sports car, and the video shows what a superb job the team did.

Initial steps included the removal of the wheels to restore them, and then a basic wash of the car.

The initial wash loosened up much of the dirt and mold and removed some of the surface muck.

Watching the dirt pour off the Toyota was incredibly satisfying.

The deeper cleans started to bring the car’s paintwork back to life.

With the cleaning done, the detailing team then got to work polishing it.

Once they’d done this, as well as detailed the interior, it was ready for its owners.

Their reaction at the end of the video was priceless, and they were overjoyed to see their car looking so good again.

Even after 15 years in a backyard, this Supra now looks to have a bright future ahead of it.
