Toyota’s 2026 Mirai has arrived, and it has a jaw-dropping amount of hydrogen, turning the world of sustainability as we know it on its head.

The new model brings a bigger range, a snazzier design, and way more pizzazz on the road.

Toyota has also enhanced comfort and tech inside, so the whole experience feels more premium and futuristic than ever.

The result is a futuristic car that proves hydrogen power can be stylish, practical, and seriously fun, as well as kind to the planet.

Toyota’s new 2026 Mirai has a jaw-dropping hydrogen range

The 2026 Toyota Mirai EV delivers an estimated 402 miles of range, making it one of the longest-running hydrogen vehicles on the market.

Its fuel cell system generates electricity by mixing hydrogen and oxygen, and the only thing leaving the tailpipe is water, making it great for the environment.

A rear-mounted motor produces a solid 182hp with smooth, instant acceleration, giving the Mirai that EV-style smooth gliding drive.

Refueling takes just a couple of minutes thanks to high-capacity tanks that are built into the rear wheel drive platform.

Toyota built the Mirai with luxury-style ride quality in mind, using a multilink suspension and advanced construction techniques to keep things stable and quiet.

Features like Active Cornering Assist, Hill Start Assist Control, and regenerative braking make the car feel even more useful and polished on the road.

The EV has a fresh new look

The updated design gives the Mirai a wide stance with a long hood and a sleek roofline that makes it look speedy even when it’s parked.

The new Mirai comes with updated LED lighting and sleek black wheels, which give the car a clean, modern signature day and night.

Inside, you get cosy SofTex heated seats, dual zone climate control, illuminated footwells, as well as a clean layout centered around a 12.3-inch touchscreen.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, JBL audio, over-the-air updates, and a full suite of safety tech round out the interior audio tech.

With a starting price of $51,795, the 2026 Mirai will bring a big range, big style, and a fresh new attitude.
