This incredible turbo e-scooter, worth nearly $30,000 from British company Bo, is aiming to set a new EV world record and break the 100mph barrier.
This amazing scooter from the UK-based company has been designed by an engineering team formed within the Williams F1 Team’s Advanced Engineering department.
It is a truly remarkable EV design, one that Bo hopes will break Guinness World Records. Although they stress it is not a scooter designed to be used on public roads!
They have, however, used an earlier road-going model as the basis. They leaned on the expertise from it to produce The Turbo.

The Turbo was inspired by the experience with Williams F1
The team behind the electric scooter has said its experience with the Williams F1 team is what inspired them to make the turbo e-scooter.
Bo said it took 18 months of development on the scooter and that it has a specific goal in mind.
It is hoped it will achieve a record-breaking speed of 100mph+, with faster acceleration than any Tesla.

Incredibly, it has enough battery to go for 150 miles on a single charge.
The Turbo takes its power from a 24,000W dual-motor setup.
That gives the scooter a higher power-to-weight ratio than a Bugatti Veyron supercar.
The Turbo e-scooter could break a record at Bonneville
The scooter ultimately will draw attention to the Bo M scooter, the road-going 25mph version.
What the scooter will do is showcase Bo’s capabilities and what it can do with electric propulsion.
The company already has its eyes set on breaking world records and showcasing what it can do.
Bo is planning on taking the e-scooter to Bonneville Speed Week to break the 100mph barrier.
The plan is for it to break Guinness World Records at the event.

If you want to go fast on two very small wheels, you won’t be able to do so on a budget.
The e-scooter will cost at least $30,000.
That is a lot of money for something they say won’t be allowed on public roads.
As a showcase of electric technology, however, this particular EV does that very well.
The thought of going over 100mph on such a small scooter certainly sounds adventurous!
