As the metallic armored pickup truck has begun working with the US Army, not even the military has managed to get the Tesla Cybertruck into Germany, as they were firmly denied in their request to have them in Europe.
The Cybertruck has stalled in America, with sales dropping to its lowest quarterly figures since its release, partly due to the fact that most of the Tesla pickups can now be traded second-hand.
But there remains an abundance of opportunity around the world, if only the EV can be given the green light to operate in Europe.
However, not even the US Army can get the Tesla Cybertruck in Germany, as it becomes the latest country to rebuff their efforts.

US Army given red light for trying to get the Tesla Cybertruck into Germany
The Cybertruck has started liaising with the US Army – although not in the way that it may have wanted.
Still, the armed forces are using the truck, and have been looking at taking it around the world.
However, as has been the case with other countries in the European Union, a request to get the Tesla Cybertruck in Germany has been refused.
In this latest saga, the US Army Customs Agency revealed that the EU safety standards have once again pointed out that the sharp-edged stainless steel body doesn’t conform to regulations.
As highlighted on Reddit, the German Ministry of Transport claimed that the car ‘significantly deviates’ from the law, and will not be given an individual vehicle license, even under USAREUR-AF cover plates.

The EV makers have acknowledged that getting the Tesla Cybertruck in Germany and other EU countries is a hard task, given the shape of its body, which would have to be drastically different.
Even military mods from the likes of Archimedes Defense remain too sharp for non-US countries.
The Cybertrucks didn’t face much resistance in getting to Mexico, though, as they are being used as police vehicles for the 2026 World Cup.
Will the Cybertruck ever go to Europe?
Well, there have been some instances of the Cybertruck landing in Europe. Particularly, one was recently spotted in Milan, shocking locals.
But to be a legal road car in European Union countries – and the UK – there are a number of changes that need to be made to the vehicle, which makes it almost unrecognizable.

The company still believes it can launch the Tesla Cybertruck in Germany and around the continent.
But given that some people have already modified their vehicles to try and bring them in line with legislation, to little avail, it seems a bigger task than you may think.
