A brave YouTuber Cummins swapped a $500K Rolls-Royce Phantom because his video got more than one single like.
The YouTuber in question, Westen Champlin, is no stranger to ambitious car projects.
But even by his standards, this seems like a big undertaking for such little provocation.
If there was one think you can count on this Kansas YouTuber for, it’s his determination.

This YouTuber is doing a Cummins swap on his Rolls-Royce Phantom
I know what you’re thinking…. what is a Cummins Swap?

It’s the process by which a vehicle’s original engine is replaced with a Cummins diesel engine.
This is often done to improve the car’s power and reliability, but also can be done to improve fuel efficiency.
For Westen Champlin, it was his Rolls-Royce Phantom that would be getting the Cummins treatment.
And – get this – the prompt to do so was his video getting more than one like.
It got more than one, and that was all he needed to get started.
“The motor that [is] in there is already blown up and having issues,” he explained.
“I said if the video got more than one like, I’d Cummins swap this Rolls-Royce Phantom.

“And I know a bunch of you thought I was joking.
“That video got more than one like and I’m not joking.”
The engine in question is a 5.9-liter Cummins diesel turbo from a 2006 Dodge Ram pick-up.
The challenge that lay before him now was fitting a huge engine into the Phantom.
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” Champlin said.
“And if that doesn’t work… I’ve got a hammer.”

The many projects of Westen Champlin
In his time on YouTube, Champlin has taken on a lot of cars, whether it be to restore them or drive them.
He has worked with a wrecked rally car, and a Dodge Hellcat, and even drove a mini truck up to the most northern point of Alaska.
Perhaps his finest moment was taking an abandoned cop car and turning it into the ‘world’s fastest’.
But with a line-up of projects like his, who’s to say which was his best undertaking?
