This Utah man purchased a Tesla Roadster and wasted no time getting it sent off for a full paint correction.
YouTuber EV Auto Alex purchased a 2010 Roadster from its original owner.
Some might think he was being a bit hasty in sending it off for paint correction.
But if his reaction upon its return was anything to go by, it was well worth it.

Why was this Tesla Roadster sent off for a paint correction?
This Roadster came in a rare British Racing Green color, one of only between 10 and 20 made in this color.
Given its rarity, it’s a real treat to get to see one in person, let alone own and drive it.

Upon a first drive, Alex couldn’t help but notice the old-school feel of the car.
Its interior didn’t come with the plethora of buttons that dominate modern EVs.
As far as driving was concerned, it was smooth but not ultra-fast.
But the real star of the show here was the car’s paint job, as it’d immediately been put in for paint correction.

While there were some ‘paint defects’ that weren’t going to budge, the car looked stunning.
And the car was being given away in a merch-entry contest.

When will we be seeing the Roadster’s comeback?
One of the most hyped up comebacks in the world of EVs has to belong to the Roadster.
Its return has been talked about for years, but we’ve still been given a definitive date.
At one point, Tesla had promised it would be unveiled on April 1, 2026… Yes, seriously.
We’re not sure when it’ll be coming back for sure, but it would be pretty funny if it did make its big return on April Fools’ Day, admittedly.
