This is the surprisingly adorable moment a Waymo autonomous taxi thanked people who cleared the path ahead.
In a clip shared online, the autonomous vehicle can be seen getting stuck, unable to travel down a road strewn with branches and debris.
When a group of people started to clear a path for the car, the vehicle said ‘thank you’ as it inched its way forward.
Waymo has gone from strength to strength this year, introducing new cities and expanding its service areas in ones it’s already operating in – and it’s super polite to boot.
