This woman showed off the 16-year-old Lexus that she bought to avoid car payments, and after other auto enthusiasts saw it, they said that she ‘made the right choice’.
With the industry constantly evolving, car prices are increasing every day, and for people who want to buy their daily drivers brand new, it is a problem.
So, to avoid the hassle and stress of planning, budgeting, and sorting car payments, one woman revealed that she took the opposite route.
Instead of splashing hundreds of bucks per month on monthly instalments, this woman decided to buy a 16-year-old Lexus to avoid those car payments, and it seems that she’s overjoyed with her purchase.

Often, buying or leasing a car comes with multiple car payments, which can hurt your wallet. So to combat this, one woman decided to buy a 16-year-old Lexus.
TikTok creator madisonloraye explained how she chose the auto for one reason and one reason only.
“The cheap car I got not to have a car payment,” she said as she showed off her wheels:
As she panned around the front of the cabin, she showed the storage in the centre console, as well as the steering wheel, dash, and handy cupholder.
And when she shared her decision online, other gearheads couldn’t help but praise her for her smart choice.
Other Lexus fans couldn’t agree more online
After viewing the video of the TikTokker showing off her 16-year-old Lexus, it became clear that other drivers thought highly of her choice.
“Honestly, Lexus RX330 is the best car ever made,” said one social media user.
“Lexus are great too because they’re manufactured with the same parts as Toyotas, so if you ever need an expensive part, ask for the Toyota equivalent and it’ll be way cheaper,” said another user.
“Not having a car payment is honestly such a flex. I don’t care if I have the newest car, and I don’t care if my car looks cool, all I have to pay for gas and routine maintenance,” agreed a fellow gearhead.
The savvy spender isn’t the only fan to praise the car either.
In fact, one man loved his Lexus so much that he did over a million miles in his model and made the odometer run out of digits.
Plus, a fellow car vlogger even went viral after they explained why a $15K used Lexus was a better buy than a Toyota.
