A woman went viral after sharing the footage of her driving past Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory, and it looks like she’s passing an entire city, with the buildings stretching farther than the eye can see.
The video shows her cruising down the highway while the factory dominates the entire right side of the frame.
It’s a scale that feels unreal as the massive structure just keeps going long after a normal facility would have ended.
This is one of the clearest ground-level views showing just how oversized Tesla’s Texas plant really is and how much real estate is put towards building the iconic EVs.
Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory is humongous
The now-viral clip was filmed from inside content creator Lauren’s car as it moved past the EV factory at full highway speed, yet the building still refuses to disappear from view.
Instead of a single factory, she drove alongside what looked like multiple little towns packed into one continuous building.

Even without context, anyone watching would assume she is passing a city built out of factories stacked side by side.
Tesla Gigafactory Texas is already known as one of the biggest manufacturing sites in the United States, but the perspective from the road makes the sheer scale feel even more dramatic.
The building fills the camera for so long that it becomes a landscape of its own.

Everything’s bigger in Texas
As the video continues, the sense of distance barely changes because the factory keeps unfolding like a long line of neighborhoods.
Texas locals who have taken the same route commented that the place felt endless the first time they saw it.
The internet found the sheer size laughable, leading to some hilarious comments.
“Imagine coming for a job interview and parking on the wrong side of the building,” joked one user.
“Can you even get past that building on a full charge?” added another
The footage proves the gigafactory is less like a building and more like a full-scale university campus that could easily be mistaken for a small city.
