There’s nothing as cartoonish and impressive as this pilot pulling off ‘the world’s shortest landing’, it’s so short the wheels actually roll backwards.
Jon Bush described himself as ‘having too much fun’ flying his Experimental Stol Quest SQ12 Supercub airplane in the wind on the Knik River in Alaska.
However, it was his landing that blew our minds, it looked as though he cut out the propeller and did a vertical landing like a VTOL.
