Gigantic Chinese EV maker XPeng has showcased its dominance in the EV market by making a record 40,000 deliveries in one month, hot off the back of increased interest in the MONA M03 and P7 models.
It’s proof, if it were needed, that Chinese EVs are on the rise.
BYD and Xiaomi have been leading the charge with a massive influx of sales throughout Asia and Europe.
Now, thanks to two recent blockbuster releases, XPeng is quickly catching up to the rest as it recorded 40,000 deliveries in September,

XPeng sets personal monthly deliveries record after P7 release
Hot off the back of a record 10,000 orders of the XPeng P7 in just 6 minutes, the Chinese EV maker has been hard at work readying its fleet for worldwide distribution.
Falling slightly short of the Xiaomi YU7 (albeit with thanks to scalpers), the P7 is one of the most hotly anticipated cars on the market, looking like a serious Tesla rival and walking the walk.
But with many models chipping in, XPeng has now revealed it has delivered over 40,000 cars in one month, for the first time.
At the forefront of the assembly line is the MONA M03, which managed to be delivered to over 10,000 driveways for the 13th consecutive month, showing its wild popularity.

The P7, P9, G6, and G9 all contributed to the total amount, being ‘affordable luxury’ SUVs and sedans that undercut other rivals in terms of price.
Recently, the brand opened a new factory in Austria, which is intended to be a hub for distributing these popular cars throughout Europe.
How does this compare with others?
Still, the 40,000 mark is shy of the likes of Tesla and BYD.
The Seal, Dolphin, and Yangwang maker, BYD, is operating as the best-selling EV brand in the world, going toe-to-toe with Toyota on an industry-wide scale.

However, XPeng isn’t slowing down either, with a Model Y rival in the G7 being one of the most exciting cars on the market, which will be developed in the new Austrian branch.
