One YouTuber has owned a brand new Tesla Model Y Juniper for a month, and he’s now ready to share his opinion.
The YouTuber in question has already owned a dozen Teslas before this one, including different Model Ys.
And if we wanted to cut a very long short, it’d be easy to say he simply liked everything about his new car.
But there’s one thing in particular that stood out for him.

There’s one thing about the Tesla Model Y Juniper that’s worth the price
This YouTuber, he goes by TESBROS, said he’s owned 12 different Teslas so far, including two Model Ys, a 2020 model and a 2021 model.
The first thing that stood out to him about the Tesla Model Y Juniper was the updated exterior design.
You now have Cybercab-style front lights, redesigned fog lights that also serve as daytime running lights, and a rear reflective light panel that echoes the Cybertruck’s look.
However, the biggest improvement, in his view, is with the interior.
The cabin was updated with redesigned seats and a reworked steering wheel.
But more importantly, it now stands out with a significant reduction in road noise. Which makes a huge difference in terms of comfort.
It’s been a long time coming, but it works so well that it was worth the wait.

What’s going with Tesla’s line-up?
The Model Y was recently refreshed with the Juniper upgrade, but the Model 3 and especially the Model S and Model X are relatively old, and aging rapidly.
Tesla has said would launch a redesigned Model X and Model S by the end of 2025. But we know that the company can be a tad over-optimistic when it comes to deadlines.
After all, it’s 2025 and we’re still waiting for the Roadster 2.0.

If we wanted to find a scapegoat, so to speak, for these delays we could probably blame everything on AI.
This is because Tesla is 100 percent focused on AI-powered stuff at the moment. Namely the Cybercab, Full Self-Drive in general, and its humanoid robot, Optimus.
Everything else is clearly being deprioritized.
Tesla sales are waning, it’s true. But it’d probably be red herring to blame that decline solely on the CEO’s controversial political views and leadership style.
Because the truth is Tesla only has five cars in its line-up – not including the Semi – and at least three of them need a refresh.

Both the Model X and Model S have been around for over 10 years, and they’re too expensive for what they are now.
The situation is a bit better with the Model 3 – because it’s cheaper and newer – but sooner or later a real upgrade, not just a slight redesign, will be required.
