This YouTuber took in a completely wrecked Porsche GT3RS from a fellow YouTuber and managed to rebuild it so it looked brand new in just 24 hours.

Mat Armstrong and his team decided to take on the project after only seeing pictures of the state it was left in by the original owner following a crash while preparing for a sub-seven-minute Nürburgring lap.

The car came with all the airbags deployed, a cracked windshield, and a damaged magnesium wheel, but the carbon fiber construction of the supercar also meant that it would be very costly to fix.

He gave himself 24 hours of active labor to completely fix the supercar back up to roaring condition, and by hour six, it had been fully torn down – was he able to do it in time?

There is nothing more depressing than seeing a wrecked supercar. But we love it when they get brought back to life.

Mat Armstrong is known for his impossible car renovation projects, and this one wasn’t only tricky and expensive, but the YouTuber also only gave himself 24 hours to complete the fix.

The Porsche GT3RS came from fellow YouTuber Mr. JWW, who wrecked it when he was practicing to complete a sub-seven-minute lap on Germany’s Nürburgring Circuit.

Mat and the team had only seen pictures of the damage and agreed to complete the fix without seeing the supercar in person. When it arrived, they saw the airbags were deployed and the windscreen was cracked.

The magnesium wheels were damaged and couldn’t be repaired, but even second-hand, the wheels cost over $16,000.

Mat gave his team and himself 24 active labor hours to fix the Porsche, and time quickly ticked away.

By hour six, they’d managed to fully strip down the supercar. But instead of replacing the dashboard, they decide to repair it and save money and time.

The team then reassembled the rear bumper, diffuser, and rear lights.

They also repaired the front fender and replaced the complicated rear and glass sides, as well as the carbon fiber, because it was bespoke and complex.

In just under 24 hours, Mat and the team managed to bring the Porsche GT3RS back to life and save his fellow YouTuber more than $200,000 with their hard work.
