This YouTuber stumbled upon an abandoned warehouse in France filled with at least 100 luxury cars.
And they’re all rotting away.
It’s such a shame to see these cars in this condition, especially when you notice the caliber of these abandoned vehicles.
And, with our Sherlock Holmes hat on, we were able to determine exactly how long they’ve been here.

Why people find abandoned vehicles so frequently
Finding abandoned cars is becoming a bit of a global sport for YouTubers.
Unfortunately – or fortunately – for car fans, it’s also a relatively easy sport to play, chiefly because it happens a lot more frequently than we think.
There are several reasons why this happens.

Sometimes, it’s just collateral damage to a disaster, like cars abandoned in Fukushima or Chernobyl.
On other occasions, it’s because the original owner died with no heirs or with heirs that don’t care about cars.
Sometimes, it’s because the cars are tied to some sort of scam or wrongdoing.
It’s such a shame.

This YouTuber even found a rare electric microcar from the past
A YouTuber who goes by 2swag managed to locate an abandoned warehouse in rural France that’s been the resting place of hundreds of old cars for decades.
The structure is collapsing, while the cars already have.
It looked like a scene out of a horror movie – some cars even had their keys still in the ignition.

Among other things, 2swag spotted several Porsche, a couple of Mazda Miatas, several old Renaults, and even a Teilhol Citadine, an ultra-rare electric microcar built in France in the 1970s.
And here comes the Sherlock Holmes moment: based on expiration dates on ice cream containers used to store car parts, we can safely assume the warehouse has been abandoned for at least 10 years.
