The 10,000HP monster that is breaking physics
Chad Green is known for inventing an iconic race car named the Nitro Funny Car, unsurprisingly, a nitro-powered race car which is better compared to a space rocket.
Despite its innocuous name, the Nitro Funny Car is a physics-breaking 10,000HP monster that is so fast it doesn’t even look real.
Described by Chad on his Instagram post about it as ‘Pure Power’, the race car is capable of hitting 350MPH in under five seconds.

In addition to its practically physics-defying and eye-watering speed, the Nitro Funny car is also deafeningly loud, as onlookers to the beast clamp their hands over their ears when the racecar takes off.
Commenters on the video, though, adore the boom of it pulling away.
“Just love the sound,” one said.
“This dark horse makes my hair stand on the back of my neck🔥awesome!” added another
The racecar shakes from the pure power it exerts as it sets off, and the wheels are practically spitting fire because it’s moving so fast.
The Nitro Funny Car is no laughing matter despite its name. In fact, it’s a terrifying beast. And we love it!
