Not everyone is a great passenger, but there are few passengers that you less want joining you for a ride than a 10ft python in the side of your BMW.

Backseat drivers, snorers, and aux-cord hoggers, there are plenty of unwanted guests that you have to share rides with.

But none come close to this.

One BMW driver was forced to take his car back to the mechanics to rip the car apart and free a 10ft yellow python that had slithered up above the pedals.

10ft Python calls shotgun in the BMW

We already know the jokes running through your head – something Monty Python-related – but this gigantic snake was no laughing matter as it called shotgun.

Taking to TikTok, one BMW owner shared a short video of a snake getting trapped in the dashboard.

The user revealed that the python slithered up into the electrics through the drivers-side pedals and continued to curl itself up behind the dash.

Maybe it was trying to play the Slither Sisters on Spotify.

Given the intimate job that needed to be done to get it out, the driver took his car back to BMW.

The mechanics took off the left-hand side of the dashboard to reveal the python snuggled up at the top and

Fortunately, extraction wasn’t done by any random Joe, as TikTok creator ‘TheSnakeFather’ was the owner of the python and the car, meaning he could get hands-on with the snake without being harmed.

This snake didn’t want its ride to end

The driver must have had some soft moves or a nice warm garage as the snake really didn’t want to leave.

After taking off the dashboard, the snake’s head was fortunately near the exit, which the man removing it set free first. But it didn’t want to go down lightly.

“Oh boy, she wants to go back,” he said as the snake began to point its head back towards the dashboard.

“Lucky for me, she didn’t put up too much of a fight once I was able to get my hands on her.”

@thesnakefather So you’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation…😬 One of my snakes found a way out of her travel carrier when I wasn’t looking and decided to slither her way into the maze of panels in my car. Yep, that’s right, a 10ft python escaped and thought it was a great idea to wedge itself behind the instrument cluster of my BMW. Not only did she find her way into the most inconvenient place for me to attempt to remove her, there was no way that I would be able to get her out without the help of the expert mechanics at BMW who essentially had to take apart the entire dashboard of my car so I could remove her from the depths of her chosen hiding place. Lucky for me, she didn’t put up too much of a fight once I was able to get my hands on her. Moral of the story is never underestimate a snake, because they can and WILL find a way into or out of almost any space no matter how impossibly small it may appear to be! Let’s just say that I’ll be double checking my snake carriers from now on! 🐍 . . . . . . #ifitfitsisits #escapeartist #bmw #bimmerlife #reticulatedpythonsoftiktok #snakesoftiktok #snakes #reticulatedpython #reticulatedpythons ♬ original sound – The Snake Father 🐍

Somehow, this wasn’t the weirdest passenger that we’ve ever seen, as one driver had removed half of their car roof to accommodate for his friend Howdy Doody the Bull.

No, that’s not BS…
