If you thought the Pangaea GT wagon was just a hotter RS6 built to chase the AMG E63, you’d be only half right.

It starts with familiar Audi DNA, but MTM didn’t stop at bolt-ons or flashy badges.

Instead, the legendary German tuner tore it apart and rebuilt it into something entirely new.

What’s left is a carbon-fiber, 1,100-horsepower monster, that so happens to have a wagon body attached.

The MTM Pangaea GT was rebuilt using carbon fiber

Built in Switzerland and limited to only 25 units worldwide, the MTM Pangaea GT isn’t just a modified Audi, but a full-blown machine built from the ground up.

Under the hood sits a reengineered 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that churns out a monstrous 1,100 horsepower and 885 lb-ft of torque.

That’s enough to launch it from 0–60 mph in under 2.6 seconds and keep going past 215 mph.

For comparison, the standard RS6 Avant tops out at 190 mph, and the AMG E63 S Wagon taps out at 186.

The Pangaea GT makes them both look like they’re standing still.

Of course, brute force isn’t the only thing it has.

MTM stripped the RS6’s body down to the bones and rebuilt it entirely from carbon fiber.

As a result, the car weighs less, sits lower, and handles like a proper supercar.

The suspension has also been retuned to keep all that power in check, giving you more control over the vehicle.

Ditching digital for retro

Inside, MTM ditched Audi’s plush five-seat setup for four carbon bucket seats trimmed in Alcantara.

The cockpit has a minimalist, almost analog feel.

Bucking the trend, this is less flashy screens and more about pure connection.

Unlike many modern cars these days, the car was designed for a driver, not a gadget lover.

The MTM Pangaea GT is certainly a unique vehicle: faster than an RS6 or AMG E63, while retaining the ability to haul your groceries home.

It’s perhaps the world’s wildest family car, and proof that practicality and performance can come hand in hand.
