After spotting a $135K luxury car in LA – a Mercedes S-Class S 580 – one man was blown away by the unusual job that allowed the driver to retire rich.

People make money in all kinds of ways, and thanks to social media, more people are rocketing to fame.

But this one driver in LA claims to be living off quite the legacy, which has ‘set him up’ for life.

The legacy in question was from a wildly unusual legend.

Luxury car driver retired off this unusual legacy

The internet personality known as ‘itsdanielmac’ is often seen chatting cars to stars like John Cena, Erling Haaland, and Helen Mirren.

But in his latest upload, he approached a random man behind the wheel of a classy Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 580, and asked him what he did for a living.

The Merc is a $135k luxury car fit for any celeb, but what this man replied with was quite extraordinary.

He claimed to be the son of a TV legend.

“My Dad was Tinky-Winky,” he said, referencing The Teletubbies.

The man claimed that his dad was one of the actors who played the British children’s TV character, and that he lives off the royalties from the show.

The residuals from DHX Media were claimed to have made the family ‘set up’.

He even claimed to still be in touch with the face of the sun in the TV show, Jessica Smith.

You remember that baby who appeared in the sun, right?

The star of this show is the Merc, though.

The S-Class is the flagship sedan by the luxury car makers, and it continues to shine after 50 years.

Alex Hirschi – aka Supercar Blondie – is quite the fan too, having recently been given a tour of the latest model.

The German manufacturer even made one-off units like the Maybach S-Class inspired by a yacht, to celebrate the anniversary of two icons.

If the Mercedes S-Class S 580 is good enough for the alleged son of Tinky Winky, it’s good enough for any celeb.
