This 1930 Chevy hasn’t been used since 1954, which means it also became somewhat of an accidental time capsule.
The car tells a story, because of what it is, but also because of the way it looks.
For example, the lower part of the car shows more rust than the rest, and why?
This is because use of road salt only began in the 1940s.

A rare 1930 Chevy that hasn’t been used in decades
This rare 1930 Chevrolet, when we think about it, is nearly 100 years old.
It shows, but also it doesn’t.
It shows, because of its design language, which is undoubtedly a thing of the past.
At the same time, it still has four wheels, and still runs (well, not this one).
Most people think of the Ford Model T as the first production car, but the truth is the Model T was totally different when it comes to the actual driving experience.
Something a Ford Model T found out the hard way when he brought his in for service.
By contrast, this 1930 Chevy has a gear lever, three pedals, a roof and so on.
And apart from the fact it doesn’t start, it’s in relatively good shape.

When cars become a time capsule
This car was abandoned 70 years ago.
It’s full of old stuff, some people would call it ‘junk’, which means you’ll find abandoned packets of snacks and products you’d have found 70 years ago in a grocery story.
That’s fascinating.
This also applies to abandoned dealerships.
A while back, somebody uncovered a Chevy and Cadillac showroom where time seemingly stood still.
But not everyone uses a 1930 Chevy, or any other old car for that matter, as time capsule.
