This entirely unrestored 1970 Plymouth Superbird is still in great condition despite having more than 170,000 miles on the clock.
The beautiful car was spotted at the Aero Warrior Reunion at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
The green Superbird has been in the same family since it was new, and it has clearly been well-loved and looked after over the years.
The car has 173,000 miles (278,417km) on the odometer and is still in fantastic shape.

All too often, we see sad stories of vintage vehicles being left to rot away in garages, barns, and sheds – like this rare 1982 Corvette that was abandoned for 42 years, or this 1967 Mustang that was parked for more than two decades.
So, it’s always good to see a classic car getting the love and treatment it deserves.

Much like this beautiful green 1970 Plymouth Superbird that was recently spotted by the YouTuber Corner Classic Car Hunter.
In a clip uploaded to his YouTube channel, the car enthusiast said the original owner of the Superbird had looked after it since it was new and only handed the car over to his son this year.
Despite its age, the car is in great condition, especially considering it’s never been restored or refreshed since it left the dealership back in 1970.
Its eye-catching all-original green paintwork still looks fresh, and its bodywork is completely free of rust.
Inside the Superbird, it’s much the same story; there are very few signs of wear and tear, with the smart black seats looking brand-new; meanwhile, the dashboard and steering wheel are also completely free of marks or chips.
The YouTuber didn’t share details of what powertrain is under the hood, but whatever it is, we’re betting it’s probably the original engine that came with the Bird.
All in all, the Plymouth Superbird is a real testament to the care and dedication shown by its owner and a lesson to us all on how to treat a vintage vehicle.
