Here’s something exciting: a 2013 Local Motors Rally Fighter that featured in Fast & Furious 8 or The Fate of the Furious was just sold on SBX Cars for an incredible price of $118,000.

It combines the best of both worlds by being a muscle car and a sports car at the same time.

What’s more, Local Motors only sent out fewer than 100 units of these, so they’re also extremely rare.

Add in the exclusive Hollywood feature of being in one of the Fast & Furious films — the rarity factor only increases.

This example of the 2013 Rally Fighter is finished in silver with a black cloth interior and only has less than 5,000 miles clocked on the odometer.

It has the Local Motors build number 55 and was Letty’s hero car in the eighth installment of the Fast & Furious film series.

The car is currently en-route to its new owner from North Carolina, United States, and will certainly turn heads everywhere.

That’s simply because it doesn’t look anything like ‘normal’ vehicles, and it’s all for a good reason.

Its absolutely stunning bodywork combined with an extremely capable powerhouse makes it a feat of pristine automotive engineering.

The previous owner even made sure to leave minor cosmetic imperfections intact after it was used in the movie production, making it an eye candy for movie buff collectors.

Packing a supercharged LSA 6.2-liter V8 under a massive clamshell hood, the 2013 Local Motors Rally Fighter sends out 556 horsepower and 551lb-ft of torque.

The most significant and alluring part of this sale was that it sold for a mere 5 percent buyer fee on SBX Cars, which is a day and night difference from what traditional auction houses charge.

The Fast & Furious Rally Fighter isn’t an everyday car — no matter how you look at it.

While being an extremely gratifying sight to look at, it also packs a tremendous punch.

Unlike anything on the road, this street-legal Rally Fighter is an off-road beast that does its job effortlessly while looking pretty at the same time.

All in all, we hope its new owner will be satisfied to flaunt their latest addition to the collection.
