This beautiful 2024 Mercedes-Maybach S 580 4Matic has recently been placed up for sale after enduring a wild 12 hours.

The Mercedes-Maybach S 580 was bought new in November and has had about 9,000 miles put on the clock.

But in February 2025, the car had an intense few hours after it was stolen.

Fortunately, the Mercedes-Maybach S 580 was recovered after 12 hours, and now it’s on the look out for a new owner.

2024 Mercedes-Maybach S 580 had an interesting 12 hours

The 2024 Mercedes-Maybach S 580 4Matic left the factory with Cirrus Silver Metallic paintwork, but has since been wrapped in silver and black, which makes it stand out even more.

What else makes it stand out is the fact that it was once stolen.

A Carfax report shared alongside the listing for the Mercedes-Maybach S 580 confirms it was stolen and towed later the same day when it was recovered.

Details around what happened during its time on the run are unclear, but thankfully the Carfax report also records no damage to the vehicle.

Alongside that, the Mercedes-Maybach has had a Lemon Squad pre-purchase inspection to confirm it hasn’t been bashed up or damaged.

The car has sustained a few scratches and chips, and there’s a dent in the hood caused by debris from a tree.

“I didn’t sign up for the wheel and tire protection package. And just to confirm, the scratches are only on the wrap, not the paint,” the seller said.

Inside is a similar story, with a few scratches on the upholstery and rear center console, but nothing major.

The seller also confirmed that, other than the silver and black wrap, the car is as it came from the factory and has been serviced on schedule.

Some cars haven’t been so lucky when it comes to theft…

While this 2024 Mercedes-Maybach S 580 was mercifully recovered the same day, without coming to any harm, there are some vehicles that weren’t so lucky.

A 1969 Baldwin-Motion Chevy Camaro, which is considered one of the rarest in the world, was stolen in New York back in 1969 and to this day still hasn’t been recovered

Meanwhile, a Ferrari F512 M belonging to F1 driver Gerhard Berger was taken from outside a hotel in Italy in 1995 and wasn’t discovered until almost three decades later.
