This is the new 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger, and it’s probably one of the heaviest vehicles in the world.
It has a V6 in it, but it also has a battery pack, and both contribute to the weight.
This fat boy is 600lbs heavier than the Cybertruck, which is not a featherweight vehicle.
For reference, that’s the equivalent of traveling with two Ducati Monster bikes in the truck bed at all times.

Why the Ramcharger weighs so much
The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger uses a complicated hybrid system.
It uses a 92 kilowatt-hour battery and a V6, which also doubles as a range extender.
The battery pack in this Ram is significantly less powerful than the one in the Cybertruck or the F-150 Lightning, but the V6 more than makes up for it.
As a result, this truck has 647HP and 610lb-ft of torque, and it does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.
It can also tow up to 14,000 pounds, which is not bad at all.

The downside of all that tech is the weight is just incredible.
The Ramcharger weighs 7,507 pounds, equivalent to 3,400kg.
This makes it around 600lbs heavier than the Cybertruck, which ‘only’ weighs 6,893 pounds.
The last thing we want to do is ‘fat-shame’ one of America’s most beloved trucks, but Ram should really put this truck on a diet.

The heaviest vehicles in the world
You’d have to arm yourself with patience and a comprehensive catalog of all available vehicles in the world to find a production car/truck that weighs more than three tons, but the list would grow bigger if you included one-off vehicles.
No one knows how much the Guinness-certified world’s longest car weighs, but we do know it’s a Cadillac Eldorado that’s 17 times longer than normal, and it has 26 wheels.
It definitely weighs several tons, definitely more than 20, probably more than 30.

Then there’s the gigantic Hummer that’s part of the Rainbow Sheikh collection (above), which weighs a whopping 132,277 pounds (60,000 kilograms).
On the opposite end of the scale we find the Caterham Seven, a vehicle which, depending on the model, can weigh as little as 900 pounds – or about 400kg.
