Imagine being just 21 years old and winning 23 cars on a game show, having only just got your license.
Well, that was exactly the case for a young man called Émilien, who won a staggering amount of cars on a French game show, yet at the time, he couldn’t really drive any of them.
Émilien was able to beat fellow contestants time and time again, which ensured he amassed a very impressive roster of prize vehicles.
In 2025, he revealed just what he did to them once he managed to get them home.

How Émilien won 23 cars on the game show
The Frenchman won his prizes on the game show called Les Douze Coups de Midi, which translates as ‘The Twelve Strokes of Noon.’
His streak started in September 2023, when he competed on the show 647 times and won €2.56 million worth of prizes.
That’s around $3 million of cash and prize winnings.
His streak ended in 2025, but he was still incredibly happy with his results.
The show saw four contestants compete in various trivia quizzes for the prizes.
Whoever won would defend that title the next day.

His run broke the world record for solo game show appearances and a European record for game show winnings.
As well as cash prizes, Émilien also won holidays, gadgets, musical instruments, and even household appliances.
But it’s the 23 cars that he won that were the real highlight.
This is what he did with his 23 cars
As we mentioned, at the time he won them, Émilien had only just passed his test, and 23 cars is a lot for anyone so young.
And he eventually gave away or sold a lot of his winnings.
For example, the 77lbs of candy he won, he decided to share out among pupils at schools.
The vehicles were also some of the prizes that he decided to sell to other people.

The host of the show called Émilien a role model for young people.
But the record-breaker remained very humble when he heard this.
“I’m just someone who likes to answer questions,” he said.
