Despite her family’s founding of the biggest supermarket chains in the US, Walmart billionaire Nancy Walton Laurie isn’t into ‘every day low prices’ herself; instead, she sports a $300m Qatari yacht from Oceanco called Kaos.
The Walton family is sitting on a huge empire, having co-founded Walmart back in the ’60s.
Since their meteoric rise, three members of the family have sat in the top 20 wealthiest Americans list for a constant 24 years.
But the heir to the fortune, Nancy Walton Laurie, is already making good use of being in one of the richest families in the world, kicking back on her 361-foot megayacht.

Walmart billionaire heiress owns a magnificent Qatari yacht
As superyachts go, Walmart heir Nancy Walton Laurie might have one of the most impressive boats out on the open waters.
This is Kaos.
The Qatari royals know how to design superyachts to perfection, and Kaos is no different.
It was commissioned by the then-Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, back in 2017.
Made by Oceanco, it was refitted by Lürssen after Walton bought it.
The four-deck opulent ship now boasts swimming pools, an aquarium, a beach club, a helipad, a cinema, a massage parlor, a gym, and a private retreat named The London Bar.

But this wasn’t her first yacht.
In fact, she once owned a 270-foot boat named Secret, which was decked out with designer clobber in every room.
With a Chanel-inspired lounge, a Porsche cinema, and a Valentina VIP room, Secret was a real insight into the mind of Nancy Walton Laurie.
But Secret was soon sold to make way for Kaos.
How does Kaos compare to other superyachts?
Kaos is the proud creation of Oceanco, but it’s not the biggest or most expensive design in their wild portfolio.
That honor goes to Koru, the 417-foot behemoth owned by Jeff Bezos.
Fortunately, Kaos doesn’t struggle side-by-side with other superyachts – or any other massive boats, for that matter.
In fact, when it was once snapped docked next to a 6,500 passenger cruise liner, the vessel stood tall and showcased its superiority and riches.

It’s not a bad way to spend your money at all.
But we might well remember this next time we get charged an extra five cents for a packet of Cheetos.
