Thousands of dollars worth of upgrades have been added to the world’s rarest Toyota.
This extensive project turns the iconic Toyota Sera into the performance car Toyota never made.
Each upgrade was designed with drivability, handling, and factory-style fitment in mind.

The world’s rarest Toyota is now equipped with fully adjustable coilovers and a Whiteline panhard bar, addressing alignment and ride height without compromising daily use.
The Toyota suspension mods included the disassembly of interior panels to access rear mounting points, proving how committed the builder was to doing the job right.

The result is a slammed stance that still clears bumps and maintains usable comfort.
Speed Safari wheels, originally found on the sporty Toyota Starlet SRS, were added to complete the lowered look.
As part of the transformation of the world’s rarest Toyota, Toyota Glanza parts played a key role.
These included a replica Glanza bonnet, rear brake conversion hardware, and a new handbrake cable setup to match the upgraded rear calipers.

The Toyota brake conversion also saw the front calipers replaced with units from a Toyota Celica, matched with EBC Yellow Stuff pads and custom discs.
Braided lines replaced the stock rubber units to improve pedal feel and performance under heat.
While corrosion made installation difficult, each corner was fully upgraded to meet the new performance target.
The Toyota suspension mods didn’t stop at coilovers.
A Whiteline anti-roll bar and a strut brace were installed to reduce chassis flex and improve handling precision.

While the strut brace will eventually be painted to better match the car’s final theme, it has already proven its value in stiffening the front end.
New brackets and supports were cleaned, repainted, and fitted with care to avoid future rust.
The final visual cue in transforming the world’s rarest Toyota was the Glanza-style bonnet, giving it an aggressive edge and factory-inspired detail.
While the latch is not yet functional and the car is waiting for ECU mapping before its first proper drive, the progress so far has already defined this Sera as something beyond a simple restoration.

Toyota Glanza parts, Toyota suspension mods, and the complete Toyota brake conversion have turned it into a reimagined performance icon.
This build goes beyond bolt-ons, it shows what Toyota might have made had it pursued a sportier Sera variant.
With its blend of rare components, thoughtful engineering, and $6,500 in upgrades, the world’s rarest Toyota is now more than a collector’s item.
It is a vision of what could have been, executed with care and purpose.
